My name is Kim and this is my story.I had an ongoing problem for a long time with multiple symptom patterns. Dr. Gray did the best he could and we hit a plateau with my progress. He told me I should have an MRI study of my neck.I was scared of them and fought him and argued against having one. Dr. Gray didn't give up and insisted I have one. To this day I am forever grateful for his persistance. When he received the MRI report, he showed it to a neurosurgeon. He immediately had me go see the surgeon for a consultation. I had a time bomb that was ready to explode! Emergency surgery was performed and now I am recovering. When people ask me how I found this serious problem in my neck I tell them it was my Chiropractor who made me have an MRI and got the ball rolling. He not only looks at me as a patient but takes the time to explain things to me. I feel very lucky!
My name is Mark Kjolhede, I am 53 years old. My primary form of employment has been construction work. As long as I can remember, I have had back problems. Many times, the pain would take one to two weeks to subside. Three years ago , during one of my episodes, I finally broke down and decided to see a Chiropractor. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Gray. I made an appointment and it has turned out to be one of the better decisions I ever made. Before I started seeing Dr. Gray, I had been having episodes every couple of months. Dr. Gray properly aligned my back the episodes ceased. After a short time, things got well enough that I went on a maintenance program. Part of my problem is arthritis, so it is very important that my spine is in proper alignment. Every now and then I feel so good that I forget that I am 53 and treat my back like I am 23 and hurt myself. I recently did this. I bent over and twisted into a position that a contortionist would envy. Unfortunately, I experienced the worst pain I have ever had in my life. I could not stand up, my wife was ready to call an ambulance. I iced my back, called Dr. Gray and saw him the next morning. At the appointment, we did some pressure reief therapy. By day two, I felt well enough that I could not believe that I had been in such severe pain. If my back had not been in proper alignment I hate to think how long this would have lasted. There would have been constant pressure on the nerve. When the ice did its job of reducing the inflammation of the nerve, the pressure was reduced, and the pain was minimal. I am an avid advocate of proper alignment maintenance, proper exercise, and a healthy diet.
My name is Beth Ruby and I went to Dr. Gray with intense lower back pain. Previously, I had physical therapy, massage therapy, and taken anti-inflammatory drugs with no results. After my first treatment with Dr. Gray I had immediately relief, and now after two weeks it's as though the pain barely existed. With x-rays and tests Dr. gray was most careful about devising a program specifically for me. When this treatment is over, I fully intend to have regular chiropractic checkups which I know will help prevent future back problems and at the same time give me a sense of well being.
