Meet the Team
We’ll Exceed Your Expectations!
The philosophy at Summit Chiropractic is and always has been “Whatever is best for the patient”.
We always have the best interests of our patients in mind. If needed, we work with and refer to other medical specialists and diagnostic facilities to ensure we are doing everything we can for each individual patient. If your case is within our scope of practice we will gladly accept you as a patient and help you determine an effective protocol. If your symptoms suggest you may need further testing or procedures we will make the appropriate referral to make sure you have the right care.
It is a common practice of both Dr. Gray and Dr. Zimmerman to review and discuss patient cases with Neurosurgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons, Physiatrists, and Physical Therapists.
Dr. Samuel Gray
Chiropractor
Dr. Samuel Gray has been providing Waterford and the surrounding communities with the highest standard of chiropractic care since 1988. During that time, he has worked with thousands of patients and taken a special interest in sports and athletic injuries, disc treatments and family wellness care.
Dr. Gray is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractors as well as the American Chiropractic Association. He was first introduced to the power of chiropractic care at age eleven when he witnessed a Chiropractor help his mother avoid a spinal surgical procedure and realized it was his mission in life to help people with a natural, drug-free approach.
“I love helping people achieve their full potential. Wellness has three pillars; how you think, how you move and what you eat,” says Dr. Gray. “Consider me your health director, I sincerely have your best interests in mind.”
Dr. Gray believes chiropractic care and a more traditional medical approach go hand in hand. He has an impeccable reputation in the medical community and an extensive network of practitioners across many fields who he refers to and who refer to him. Many medical doctors in Waterford and surrounding areas not only refer to Gray but also utilize his services personally.
“My philosophy is quite simple actually,” says Dr. Gray. “I treat everyone as an individual. I am dedicated to practicing the right way. By that, I mean doing what is right for the patient. We have a success rate of more than 92% with individuals who seek out our care, approach and opinion. When I know that a patient would benefit from a different approach, opinion, or further testing, I make sure that we refer them to the right specialist in my network of practitioners.”
In addition to delivering the highest quality Chiropractic care, Dr. Gray is also a member of the Oakland County Sheriff’s advisory committee and sponsors and contributes to numerous local charities and youth sports teams. He also, along with a business partner, brought STRETCHZONE, a practitioner-assisted stretching service, to metro Detroit and currently oversees three locations.
When not helping people improve their physical health, Dr. Gray is the lead singer in The Foster Brooks Band, a local rock and roll cover band. He also enjoys tennis, travel and makes staying fit and family time top priorities. Dr. Gray has been happily married for 32 years and he and his wife have been blessed with three daughters and a son-in-law.
